The CDlinux team is proud to announce the release of CDlinux-0.6.1. This release has a minor bug fix and some major feature enhancement. It ships with linux-2.6.24.5, xorg-7.3, xfce-4.4.2, firefox-2.0.0.14, pidgin-2.4.1, xine-1.1.12, and many other up-to-date popular applications (read the full package list). And all these are packed in a 57M iso. This release fixed a quoting bug in rc.modules. It has newly added support for touchpad, lzma, pdf, and improved support for desktop icons and mactel. It honors dbus and hal, and can handle hotplug much better. This release also features greatly improved font support for various lang/locales. Download it here.

We are pleased to announce the release of CDlinux-0.6.0, the first stable version of the 0.6 series. This release ships with linux-2.6.24.4, xorg-7.3, xfce -4.4.2, firefox-2.0.0.13, pidgin-2.4.1, and many other up-to-date popular applications (read the full package list). And all these are packed in a 51M iso. This release added basic MacTel support, and greatly improved support for i18n/locales. It also introduced a new method to auto configure X. All newer video cards can be auto detected and configured. Its booting and hardware detection are further fine-tuned, and can boot into X within 30 seconds on most hardware configurations.
